Wexford Juvenile “B” Track & Field Championship, Enniscorthy, 21-Jun-2019

The Striders Juveniles ended a fantastic week for the club on a real high, at the Wexford “B” Track & Field Championships. All athletes competed in 60m sprints, 300m middle distance, long jump, turbo javelin and ended the evening in the 4x100m relay events. We had a great turn out, with sixteen participating, and would you believe it….all sixteen went home with medals. The stars on the evening were Ellen Murray, Aoife Wall, Katelyn Corish, Ella Howlin, Sarah Lillis, Ailbhe Mackey, Ava Kehoe, Moya Corbett, Conall Delaney, Maitiu Wall, Darragh Mackey, Cormac Delaney, Dylan Galvin, Fionn Kehoe, Eoin Stephenson and Ryan Murphy.
We are all really proud of these guys, some were competing for the first time, many have participated in recent events and have come close to podium finishes, but tonight they really shot the lights out. Hopefully all athletes and parents had a great evening. Wexford medals are rare items and should be treasured.
