Leinster Masters Indoor Championship, 6-Mar-2016, Athlone IT

Huge congratulations to John, Luke and Gavin competing today in The Masters Leinster Indoor championships. John had two great runs in the 800m and 1500m winning two silver medals . This is John’s first outing on the track this year and these performances will set him up nicely for the Nationals coming up in a couple of weeks. Gavin won silver in the 400m , bronze in the long jump and came 5th in the 200m. Super performance from Gavin who is now a prolific medal winner in these championships over the last number of years. Luke was giving the sprints a go and ran ” ar nos na gaoithe” in both 60m and 200m . No medals but great effort put in.
Also competing for Striders on Saturday was Aoife Muldoon in the girls u17 60m and Long Jump. Aoife gave it her all in both events and enjoyed some great competition over the day
